The 2014 FA Cup Final will be the 133rd final of the FA Cup, the world’s oldest football cup competition. The match will be contested between Premier League clubs Arsenal and Hull City. The match will be played on 17 May 2014 and will be the final match of the 2013–14 FA Cup. It will also be the first time since 2010 that the FA Cup Final has taken place after the end of the Premier League season. As Arsenal qualified for the Champions League by their league position, Hull City will enter the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League at the group stage if they win the final and the third qualifying round if they lose;however, due to a change in UEFA rules, this will be the last season the runners-up will enter the Europa League if the winners have already qualified for European competition.The winning team will play against 2013–14 Premier League champions Manchester City in the 2014 FA Community Shield.
